Student Welcome Fox Note Card Using Stampin’ Up! Foxy Friends Stamp Set

Happy Friday!  I have another creation to share using the Foxy Friends stamp set.  Every school year, I create welcome cards for my students to introduce myself and invite them to our Open House.  I try to make the cards correspond with the classroom theme of the year.  This year, I chose to decorate my room with woodland animals, including foxes, so this stamp set was perfect!

I wanted to keep the design simple for two reasons.  One is that I planned to make about 26 of these cards.  And the other is that I’ve been experiencing a lot of pain in my hands lately and something that required a lot of punching or intricate cutting would not work so well.  I decided to just cut my card stock into 4 equal pieces and use those rather than a folded base.  I needed plenty of room for writing, so having the fox in the corner and a little strip of designer series paper down the side seemed appropriate.  Hope the kiddos like them!
