Happy Monday! The weekend was busy with lots of little things. We went to the outlet mall, the farmer’s market, garage sales, a local brewery, and the grocery store. We painted projects, took care of the lawn, worked on laundry, got the cars washed, and enjoyed each other’s company. I have a long list of things to do today- including making 10 freezer meals that I purchased ingredients for yesterday. I already made four meals this morning, but need to run to the store again. Note to self, and anyone else who can benefit: when making freezer meals, make sure you have enough freezer bags 😉
Today’s share is one of three card styles that I made using the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Greetings Card Kit. This kit is amazing! It comes with supplies to make 5 each of 3 designs of BEAUTIFUL 5″ x 5″ cards, including the card bases, envelopes, silver foil envelope liners, die-cut paper and foil images, baker’s twine, sequins, wood veneer sheets, enamel dots, and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I purchased the coordinating stamp set and already had the two ink colors that are intended to be used with the kit. It was so cost effective and I am in love with the finished cards. They look nice in the catalog, but in person, they are just so gorgeous! And I completed all 15 cards and put liners in the envelopes in about an hour. The most time consuming part was tying the twine on these 5 cards. What do you think?
