Good morning! I hope all of my American readers enjoyed the 4th of July celebrations over the weekend. It was a busy weekend for us, and thankfully, Hank didn’t seem as bothered by the fireworks this year as he was last year!
Well, for a really long time, I’ve wanted to begin Project Life. It is a pocket scrapbooking system designed by Becky Higgins. The concept was designed to have people document their daily lives and activities rather than just special events, and “hard core” Project Lifers create a layout for every week of the year. Honestly, my life is not quite that exciting, and during the school year each week would look way to similar. Becky Higgins joined with Stampin’ Up! a little over a year ago to create exclusive kits. I purchased some kits, albums, stamp sets, and accessory packs and made cards with some of the kits, but I couldn’t commit to creating a layout for every week of the year. I decided to try the pocket system with my recent trip to New York City with my sister, nieces, and a friend of my niece. Today I’m sharing my title page. I used supplies from the Let’s Get Away Project Life kit and accessory pack, as well as some stamps. I’ll be sharing more of the pages from this album as the week goes on.
