Good morning, it’s Friday!! It has been strange to have a full week of work this week after all the calamity days, the holiday, an Early Release Day, and my scheduled day off to be with my Dad. The children were ready to get back into the routine, and to be honest, so was I. Although this week has seemed incredibly long as a result!
Last week, a friend called and told me about the project she was working on. She is helping to host a baby shower for her daughter-in-law, and wanted to use the opportunity to show off her crafty side. What she needed my help with was finding Stampin’ Up! products that she could use to make tags. She wanted the tags to be “For You” tags to be attached to the favors that guests would receive for attending the shower. She had a vision and as she described the colors and theme to me, I was already designing in my head. I created a few tags to get an idea of whether or not we were on the same page. She ended up choosing three of the designs to recreate for the shower. I just love paper crafting, and I love sharing it with others even more! I’m so grateful that she thought to call me!
I used the grass from Sheltering Tree on the one tag. I used the dotted lines from the Project Life Point & Click Stamp Set on the one monkey tag. The “For You” sentiment in all uppercase letters is from the July Paper Pumpkin Kit. The other two sentiments are from retired sets.
